Taking Notes
Notes - This simple default app allows for you to take a quick note or make a list like you would on a post-it or piece of notebook paper. Use it to write down a list of materials needed for a project, brainstorm ideas with partners in your group, or write down things to remember to do when you get home.
|
Evernote - This app acts as a storage system for your notes like a binder. You can make different notebooks for each of your classes/projects and then create note pages in each notebook. You can type notes, upload a picture, or make a voice memo into the note. For example, this would allow you to take a picture of what your teacher wrote on the board, record the your voice stating the math steps to solve, and then save it in your math notebook for future use.

Keeping Track of Time
Clock (Alarm/Stopwatch/Timer) - This app can not only be used as a clock, but also as an alarm for getting to school on time, a stopwatch to time experiments, or a timer to keep you on track as you do your homework. You can use the stopwatch to time how long your presentation or speech will be as you practice. You could even set a timer for your group and switch jobs every so often.
|
Calendar - This app allows you to insert events into specific dates on a calendar. The best feature is you can have different categories to color-code different types of events. You could have a sports, class, and other categories. You could then plug in all of your games/locations/times into the calendar and make them red and then also plug in upcoming assignment/project/test dates in a yellow class category. These calendars can then be shared with your parents that have the Apple iOS Calendar app so that when they put in doctor appointments, both you and your parents can see all events put into the calendar.
